Boot Camp & Dissertators Workshop

BOOTCAMP

WHAT: A weekend of quiet focus. No distractions - no phones, no internet, no noise - so you and your dissertation can move forward. We give you breakfast, lunch, and snacks so all you need do is focus on your work. We help each other stay on track by writing and sharing our goals for the day ... shamelessly reinforced by stickers!!

WHO: Perfect for CGU students writing their dissertations.

WHY: ... because a good dissertation is a done dissertation

HOW: Spaces are limited (we need a larger Writing Center!), so it's first-come, first-served. Send an email to the Writing Center as well as $50 fully refundable deposit to book your space. We return the deposit when you come to the workshop.

Email: writecenter@cgu.edu for more information.

Boot Camp Dates - Fall 2013

September 7 & 8
October 12 & 13
November 9 & 10
December 14 & 15

Dissertators
walk through a word (be)wilderness
wrestle with writers' block
wonder where willpower hides

We
coolly contemplate
...how to keep from going crazy over conflicting committee comments
and
calmly craft

yet another chapter revision
